Description
Designed a modern, user-friendly UI for an e-commerce website specializing in selling handknit beanies. The design features a minimalist aesthetic, intuitive navigation, and visually appealing product displays to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.
Objective: CozyKnit Beanies wanted to create an e-commerce platform to showcase and sell their handmade beanies. They aimed for a modern, minimalist design that would highlight the craftsmanship of their products and provide a seamless shopping experience.
Process:
- Research & Planning: Conducted market research to understand the target audience and competitors. Developed user personas to guide the design process.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Created wireframes and interactive prototypes using Figma, ensuring a user-centric layout.
- Visual Design: Focused on a minimalist aesthetic with a neutral color palette to keep the spotlight on the beanies. High-quality images and clean typography were used to enhance the visual appeal.
- Implementation: Developed the website using Shopify, integrating necessary e-commerce functionalities such as product listings, shopping cart, and secure checkout.
- Testing & Launch: Conducted usability testing to identify and fix any issues before the official launch.
Outcome: The new website received positive feedback for its clean design and easy navigation. Sales increased by 30% within the first three months, and user engagement metrics showed significant improvement.
